We're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive, Programmatic Sales to join our team. You'll play a crucial role in driving revenue growth for our Yahoo Demand-Side Platform (DSP), building strong client relationships, and providing strategic guidance to our customers. Your main focus will be selling the Yahoo DSP to advertisers, agencies, and brands, helping them achieve their marketing goals through programmatic advertising.
What You'll Do:
Sales Strategy & Revenue Generation:
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets for the Yahoo DSP.
Identify and proactively target potential clients, including advertisers, agencies, and brands, to showcase the value and benefits of the Yahoo DSP.
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, meticulously tracking leads and opportunities to ensure consistent revenue growth.
Collaborate closely with the sales team and senior management to craft compelling sales strategies and tactics.
Client Relationship Management:
Forge and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations, becoming their trusted advisor in programmatic advertising.
Deeply understand client business objectives, marketing goals, and challenges to propose customized solutions utilizing the Yahoo DSP.
Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations that highlight the powerful capabilities and advantages of the Yahoo DSP.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high client satisfaction and long-term retention.
Consultative Selling & Solution Development:
Analyze client needs and objectives, leveraging your expertise in programmatic advertising and the Yahoo DSP to develop tailored, data-driven solutions.
Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams including operations, marketing, and product development, to ensure client requirements are met.
Stay ahead of industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to offer strategic insights and recommendations to clients.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work hand-in-hand with the Yahoo DSP product and engineering teams to provide valuable customer feedback, contribute to product roadmap discussions, and identify areas for improvement.
Partner with the account management team to ensure seamless onboarding, campaign execution, and optimization for clients.
Coordinate with the finance and legal departments to negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies.
What We're Looking For:
3-7 years of progressive experience in digital advertising sales, with a strong preference for experience within the programmatic advertising ecosystem.
In-depth knowledge of demand-side platforms (DSPs) and programmatic advertising technologies is essential.
Solid understanding of the digital advertising landscape, including current trends, challenges, and industry best practices.
Proven track record of success in sales and negotiation, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and consistently exceed revenue targets.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to leverage data and insights to drive strategic decision-making.
Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

The compensation for this position ranges from $188,625.00 - $393,125.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
