Your mission:
This position plays a vital role in managing the fibre supply chain to ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency. This position supports fibre procurement, measurement and classification, certification, and financial reporting. In close collaboration with the Fibre Sourcing Manager, you'll help maintain a strategic and cost-effective fibre supply, while contributing to our environmental and operational standards.
Operational Duties
Coordinate closely with chip lab personnel to ensure testing schedules, quality standards, and protocols are consistently upheld.Manage monthly chip and pulp wood measurement processes to ensure accurate and timely data collection and reporting.Administer the Pulp Log Program:Collect and verify operational dataPrepare and submit regulatory reports to government agenciesMaintain documentation to ensure complianceManage manual scaling programSupervise contractors providing fibre or fibre-related servicesFinancial and Administrative Duties
Ensure accounting records related to fibre procurement are accurate and submitted on schedule.Assist with the preparation of financial audits, reconciliations, and performance reports for fibre inputs (chip, hog, and pulp wood).Maintain and improve tracking systems and key performance indicators (KPl’s) related to fibre quality, volume and usage.Support Fibre Sourcing Manager
Contribute to contract management and vendor communication.Assist with fibre procurement planning, inventory tracking, and logistics coordinationParticipate in third-party certification audits (e.g., FSC CW, PEFC CoC).Analyze fibre market data and trends to support sourcing strategies.Assist in optimizing transportation logistics and reducing fibre supply costs.
