Fiber Room Associate

**Shift:**
3-2-2-3 Rotating
12 Hours Shift
**Position Description:**
+ Unload trucks and receive materials in SAP.
+ Put away fiber/TB.
+ Remove fiber/TB spools from pin-carts and/or boxes.
+ Place the spool into fiber/TB storage bins or on carts as directed.
+ Repackaging boxes/cases for recycling/removal.
+ Pull fiber/TB for production orders.
+ Remove the Fiber/TB Spool from the Bin and place it onto the cart/rack.
+ Provide all required paperwork for the production operator, including cart sheets.
+ Move the cart/rack of fiber/TB to the appropriate area.
+ Select remakes, including tubes, fiber, and TB, as needed.
+ Choose fiber/TB that results in minimal matching loss and returns.
+ Issuing Strip and Rejacket paperwork
+ Testing fiber/TB returns
+ Move return spools to the appropriate area; good/issues/etc.
+ Perform cycle counts/inventories/audits as directed.
+ Use a forklift, electric pallet jack, and tugger to move fiber racks and pallets.
+ Other duties based on business needs.
**Education:**
Required: High School Diploma or GED
**Experience:**
· Service-oriented attitude
· Effective communication skills
**Preferred:**
· Experience in inventory control
· SAP experience
**Skills/Attributes:**
+ Demonstrated commitment to data integrity
+ Effective time management skills and able to work with little supervision
+ Attention to detail
+ Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
