What you’ll do

We are setting up and scaling a dedicated Fiber Company (Fiber2All), as fully owned subsidiary of Vodafone. This company is dedicated to delivering lightning-fast fiber-optic connectivity and exceptional service. As the newest addition to the Vodafone family, this new company plays a pivotal role in accelerating fiber optic deployment and creating compelling commercial propositions that align with Vodafone's esteemed standards and values. The Fiber Optics Design Engineer will take responsibility of the FTTH design & planning network activities. The Design Engineer will focus on defining area coverage, creating rollout files, topology layout, fiber splice plans, cable/duct routing and supporting FTTH customer connections

Who you are

•    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/GIS or equivalent.
•    English language (Fluent oral and written)
•    At least 2 years professional experience on Fiber Optic Design Plans.
•    Experience in GIS, AUTOCAD, MICROSTATION tools or equivalent
•    Technical Analysis of the connectivity requirements 
•    Design of the FTTH fiber network 
•    Preparing rollouts and redesigns of FTTH connections according to site surveys
•    Resolve daily design issues during the implementation activities 
•    Communication with subcontractors about the progress of projects 
•    Registration of the as-built designs in the company’s design and maintenance tools
•    Monitor and report all the main activities regarding the progress of the projects 
•    Update & register all optical network in our inventory systems
•    Verify and assign properties’ addresses with NGI. 
•    Ability to multi-task and prioritize job requirements.  Ability to cope with complex projects and tight deadlines
•    Problem-solving attitude
•    Team working spirit
