The Shore Engineer is administratively responsible to the Supervisors, Ferry Operations. While working on a vessel, the Shore Engineer is functionally responsible to the Vessel’s Master.

Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants may be required to complete an employment security screening check.

WORK STATUS: Permanent, Full Time.
HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week as per the ATU 508 Collective Agreement.
SALARY: As per the ATU 508 Collective Agreement.
WORK LOCATION: Halifax Transit Ferries: Alderney, Halifax and Woodside Ferry Terminals - Based on operational requirements, the work location and schedule are subject to change.
