You will provide technical leadership to a group of the world's most talented engineers who provide and develop expertise to facilitate the success of engineering products. **Key Responsibilities** + Responsible for providing technical leadership for major growth projects + Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert within the embedded system and IoT technical field internally and externally + Has expert problem solving skills and technical expertise; captures IP in patents and trade secrets; and leads teams to technical success on major programs + Mentor and coach multiple engineers from a technical and behavioral perspective + Participates in developing technology-related business strategy and new technologies + Create an impactful network established with customers and industry groups. Leverage external and internal relationships and interactions to develop technology strategy + Drives continuous improvement in processes or methodologies + Represents Honeywell in external technical communities. Writes and present papers and participates in standards organizations + Serves as a primary technical resource for Onity, Inncom and BA Hospitality **YOU MUST HAVE** + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics + 10+ years of experience in embedded and IoT system new product development + Led technical decision making and system architecture on 3 large new platforms with successful growth measures + Led innovation at a company resulting in at least 10 inventions that translate to business impact + Led successful root cause analysis on 3 complex system failures **WE VALUE** + Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members + Expert level understanding of embedded systems and IoT development best practices + Solid understanding of software development best practices, Agile methodologies, design patterns, and architecture principles + Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment + Passion for innovation and continuous learning + Experience with cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. + Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. + Expertise in software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines + Experience using GitHub, Jira, and other collaborative tools + Excellent communication and collaboration skills Honeywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
