Job Details:
This position is responsible for managing the production and delivery of high quality feed to Tyson growers at the lowest cost possible while ensuring compliance with all local state and federal regulations. This requires
Keeping a daily drug inventory for FDA compliance
Obtaining daily driver reports to ensure DOT compliance
Managing personnel in the Housekeeping and Preventative Maintenance departments.
Coordinating production schedules and corresponding inventories
Holding monthly safety meetings to correct problems in both Mill and Trucking
Quarterly planning of the budget.
Keeping upper management informed and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.
REQUIREMENTS: (It is highly recommended that you attach a resume)
Education: High school degree required or degree or equivalent agricultural field preferred.
Experience: 2 plus years experience in feed mill, poultry, farm, or related agricultural positions. Poultry feed mill knowledge preferred. (Maintenance Experience is preferred.)
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. May require knowledge of the Tyson Business Computer System. Knowledge of Excel and data entry is needed.
Supervisory Skills: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel in a single department or work unit who perform similar and or interrelated tasks and activities.
Travel: Possible travel between feed mill, farms, and plant.
Additional Requirements: Must not own, possess, or otherwise maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl. Animal Welfare background check will be required.
