Fee Schedule Analyst - Full Time - Hybrid

Hybrid: Experity offers Team Members the opportunity to work remotely or in an office. While this position allows remote work three days weekly, we require Team Members to live within a commutable distance from one of our locations to ensure you are available to come into the office as needed.

Compensation: Budgeted between $17.75 - $22.75


Responsibilities:

Adding new codes and pricing to fee schedules. Apply payments and adjustments to accounts as appropriate. Assist clients with obtaining online access. Assist onshore and offshore team members with online access issues. Assist RCM with working various outstanding claims. Manage and update logins/passwords within the "Keeper" app. Provide website codes to login to payer websites. Pull remittances from payer website. Rebilling of underpaid claims for claims projects. Reverse UAC'd payments and post. Complete any and all tasks of a medical biller. Follow up to make sure that payers reimburse for underpayments. Loading fee schedules into the billing software system. Request and set up website access for medical billers. Updating fee schedules as they change. Work and resolve tickets within Salesforce. Submit corrected insurance claims and/or appeals, as necessary, with appropriate documentation based on payer guidelines. Notating patient accounts with accurate information based on information received. Maintain patient confidence by following HIPAA guidelines. Contact insurance companies regarding claim status, follow-up on denials or partial payments. Perform various audits. Understand CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding. Work Omega escalations. Review, track, and discuss productivity variances. Review of unpaid claims, researching denials and/or lack of activity to ensure timely payment and maintain cash flow. Review for codes underbilled in the practice management system. Rebill and track claims for increased reimbursement. Other duties as assigned.

 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. 

 

Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

 

Preferred:

Previous medical bill experience. Experience reading and evaluation explanation of benefits (EOBs). Familiarity with medical fee schedules.
