Provides direct clinical services including individual, family, and crisis intervention as clinically indicated. Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team and consults with supervisor as clinically indicated. Maintains clinical records in compliance with all cities, state, and federal regulations as per the city Department of Mental Health, Mental Disabilities and Substance Use Services, the State Office of Mental Health, and the State of New York Department of Health. Complies with managed care requirements including consulting with care coordinators, obtaining treatment authorization, and providing necessary documentation. Participates in all mandatory agency training/in-service programs. Attends weekly individual supervision with clinical supervisor.Other Job Responsibilities

Education: Master’s degree in social work and valid NYS certification within one year of employment. Training and Experience: Successful completion of internship(s) during Master’s program. Job Knowledge: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Cultural competency is essential.
