Federal Technical Capture Manager, Cyber & Data Resilience

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented professional to provide operational support to win U.S. government work. Prospective candidate will be expected to lead the full life cycle from capture to bid production.  The ideal candidate has experience with  U.S. government contracting, the procurement processes, and bid writing. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations, developing competitive proposals, and supporting business development initiatives

 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Contracting & Procurement Expertise:   Provide expert-level knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), agency-specific supplements, and procurement best practices. Advise internal teams on contract types, pricing strategies, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation. Bid & Proposal Development: Lead or support the development of compliant, compelling, and responsive proposals for federal solicitations (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs). Draft and review technical and management volumes, past performance narratives, and pricing justifications. Ensure alignment with solicitation requirements and evaluation criteria. Business Development Support: Participate in capture planning and strategy sessions. Engage with prospective clients and teaming partners to understand requirements and shape opportunities. Contribute to pipeline development by identifying and qualifying new opportunities. Essential Traits Extensive experience in U.S. federal contracting and procurement processes. Proven track record of successful bid and proposal development for government clients. Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and other relevant regulations. Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

The current salary range for this position is $120,000 to $175,000
