As a Federal Security Compliance Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements mandated for U.S. federal contractors. This position requires a deep understanding of federal security frameworks, compliance mandates, and industry standards, including the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) frameworks, Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

Your responsibilities will include:
· Regulatory Compliance Management: Oversee multiple security compliance programs to ensure alignment with federal regulations, standards, and certifications, including NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, and FedRAMP.
· Policy and Standards Governance: Maintain awareness of evolving federal security requirements, assess their impact on the organization, and ensure policies, procedures, and corporate documentation are updated accordingly.
· Security Audits & Assessments: Conduct security assessments against federal cybersecurity frameworks, review policies and controls, and ensure compliance with government contracting security requirements.
· Compliance Training & Documentation: Develop, manage, and distribute security compliance documentation and training programs tailored to federal contracting obligations.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a subject matter expert (SME), providing guidance on security compliance requirements during new business initiatives, contracts, and system implementations.
· Security Controls & Risk Mitigation: Collaborate with internal security teams to implement security controls, monitor compliance, and address risks associated with federal cybersecurity mandates.
· Audit Coordination: Facilitate federal security audits by preparing teams, coordinating audit tasks, and ensuring timely remediation of any findings.
· Identity & Access Management (IAM) Implementation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to enforce access control policies, ensuring compliance with federal identity management requirements.

Qualifications:
· Proven experience in security compliance roles within federal contracting environments.
· Expertise in federal security frameworks, including NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and DFARS.
· Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles and security governance best practices.
· Familiarity with compliance tools such as Active Directory, Entra ID, and privileged access management solutions.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CMMC Assessor, Security+).
· Familiarity with additional industry standards and frameworks such as SSAE 18, CCA CCM, and PCI DSS
· Experience coordinating federal audits and assessments.
· Knowledge of government procurement processes related to cybersecurity.

Serves as an advocate for the risk management program.Ensures the risk management strategies and programs are established, maintained and enhanced to support the businesses in managing their risks while meeting business and regulatory expectations.Oversees the timely and proper execution of the risk management program within and/or across the lines of business. Includes consultation to execute the program components.Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit). Monitors changes in internal and external factors and identifies emerging risks.Leads and engages cross functional teams and develops internal capabilities.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $65,000.00 – $157,300.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
