Federal Sales Operations Manager

The Federal Operations Program Manager will be responsible for driving implementation of CommScope's Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and NIST compliance and is responsible for 3rd party vendor relationships tied to this initiative. lead initiatives that bridge tactical execution with strategic oversight to ensure mission success across federal programs. This a remote role for candidates with preference in the Washington, DC area. **How You'll Help Us Connect the World** This role will manage Federal requirements and be responsible for sales engagements, such as sales training, best practices, managing Controlled Unclassified Information and sales onboarding/ offboarding related to the practice. In addition, the Federal Operations Program Manager will be responsible for the management of Federal RFP and market intelligence sales tools, sales enablement and related training, including but not limited to, coordinating contract and SOW negotiations, submitting eReqs, processing invoices, and other business operation needs. In addition, the Federal Program Manager will be a subject matter expert in working with the United States Federal government, with an understanding of the terminology, requirements, regulations, procurement, compliance, and contracting requirements. This is a fast-paced program, so business knowledge of Federal is a must-have skill. **PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** + Leads efforts internally for the following Federal TAA/BAA/BABA/COO certification requirements + Coordinates GSA Letter of Supply and facilitates required documentation with partner network + Manages SAM Registration and completes Federal Certification Requests as needed. + Manages multiple teams focused on compliance and cyber security initiatives for doing business with the US Federal government. + Manages multi-faceted programs for enabling key business processes, systems, and development of a Federal group within CommScope. + Acts as subject matter expert in Federal terminology, requirements, business practices, and contract mechanisms. + Leads the Federal rated order compliance process through CRM opportunity to SAP and order fulfillment. + Identifies compliance gaps and analyzes sales needs in existing Federal order and compliance processes; proposes solutions to improve cross functional communications with Marketing, IT, Finance, Legal, Operations, Channel, logistics and Sales. + Works with internal team members to understand cross-functional requirements, Legal needs, IT systems, business processes, and contractual obligations and deliverables. + Manages programs and initiatives via a program/project plan. + Proactively communicates expectations concerning program participation, schedule, anticipated and unanticipated costs, and other program needs. + Use analysis skills to identify and drive business improvement and manage other Federal-related initiatives as needed. + Manages and reports on sustaining practice operations including change communication, regulatory changes and updates, official price lists, and contracts, and similar. + Develops training materials and delivers change management updates to extended team. + Understands supply chain requirements for Federal partners and customers. **Required Qualifications for Consideration:** + Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering, or equivalent work experience am + Five or more years of Program/Project management experience leading cross-functional, matrixed, intra-company or inter-company teams. + Three or more years managing Federal programs and/or Federal sales or support operations programs. + Familiarity with MRP, ERP, CRM, Document Management, and similar systems for managing Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Federal Contract Information (FCI). + Knowledge of CMMC level requirements, NIST Compliance and general information security practices for Federal entities. + Proven track record managing complex, multi-project programs from business analysis through implementation. + Contract negotiation and fee based outsourcing requirements. **You Will Excite Us If You Have:** + PMP certification + Structured cabling background in passive media + Familiarity with the US Government clearance process (clearance not required) and familiar with tracking clearances for company. + Experience with technical team members, including hardware and software engineering, Information Technology, and systems owners. + Process re-engineering/business analysis experience. Our salary ranges consider a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skill sets, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. The expected salary range for this position is $129,700 - $168,600. The candidate will be rewarded with a comprehensive benefits package, including, medical, dental, and vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan.
