Job Title: Federal Construction Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Federal Construction Superintendent with a strong background in managing construction projects of similar size and complexity. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, including at least 5 years as a Superintendent. Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 requirements and expertise in hazard identification and safety compliance are essential. The role demands proficiency in interpreting critical path schedules and construction drawings.

ResponsibilitiesOversee the entire construction project, ensuring it adheres to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Interpret and implement critical path schedules and construction drawings.Ensure safety compliance and hazard identification in accordance with EM 385-1-1 requirements.Provide leadership and direction to site staff, including subcontractor management.Collaborate with Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) and Quality Control Manager (QCM), who will perform their duties separately.Essential SkillsMinimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years as a Superintendent on projects of similar size and complexity.Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 requirements.Experience in hazard identification and safety compliance.Ability to interpret critical path schedules and construction drawings.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious work experience on similar contracts in scope and size.Active clearance required for project involvement.Work Environment

This role involves on-site management at the Kings Bay naval base, specifically for the Trolley Rails project. An active clearance is necessary for this position.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
