You and your jobBeing a gatekeeper to the financial system is easier said than done. In the rapidly evolving field of sanctions detection, staying ahead means continuously adapting and optimizing models to ensure robust risk coverage across millions of clients and transactions. As a Data Scientist in FEC Tech Sanctions, you will be expected to identify sanctions risks, propose innovative solutions and drive them from proof of concept to implementation.

You and your talentYour background is in Artificial Intelligence, Econometrics or another quantitative field.You have at least 3 years of experience in advanced data science in a regulated environment.Extensive hands-on experience in Python for developing and testing statistical models as well as handling large datasets with SQL or PySpark.You are a proactive with a strong understanding of sanctions-related risks, capable of designing new model proposals to effectively address those risks. Certifications like CGSS and/or CSS are a distinct advantage.You are comfortable challenging the status quo continuously, identify problems and focus on delivering crafty solutions.Advanced communication skills to translate complex technical insights into straightforward recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.Overall command of English at C1 level or up is required.
