The fashion division is embarking on an exciting new chapter. To drive this transformation, we must re-visit our organizational structure and elevate our team’s capabilities—ensuring agility in supporting business growth, delivering local relevant and exclusive event experiences to our clients at scale, and positioning ourselves for long-term success in Mainland China.This role is enhanced to support 3 areas:Retail event Strategy & Planning: To define retail event strategy and annual event roadmap, aligning with retail one-boutique-one-story strategy & objective. To build strong partnership with retail team & fashion partners by providing the best-in-class experience for our clients by typology through various retail events & projects, as well as to convert/ support boutique business;Retail Event Orchestration & Implementation: To orchestrate & coordinate retail event plan based on the strategy and business context. Aligning with distribution evolution by key moments, new doors opening, boutique upgrade, boutique expansion and ephemeral/temp projects to ensure maximum business impact, elevate client experience by typology, as well as building long-term client relationship with our fashion luxury positioning;Image Project Orchestration: To lead/coordinate Image project orchestration with all teams/stakeholders to ensure qualitative delivery in all aspects depending on key measurements, client engagement, Brand engagement & brand image, etc.;
Key Responsibilities:
what you can bring to the teamRetail Event planning & Governance: To lead annual planning, define team structure, establish management processes, and set accountable performance outcomes. To lead annual retail event strategy & planning, in close cooperation with global event team and all local fashion stakeholders, in aligning Fashion objective, support business & fulfill client expectations;Set-up systematic process for team operations, compliance, and ethical conduct;Accountability & Transparency – Ensuring each team member is appropriately positioned within the organization and play to their strengths;To identify and mitigate risks by leveraging internal expertise (IP/IA/Legal/Finance), protecting the team to ensure a safe working environment (financial, legal, operational);Budget control - Establish clear planning, spending oversight, accountability, cost optimization, and contingency management to ensure financial discipline and strategic alignment.Retail Events Orchestration: Define each event strategy and roadmap, based on global strategy translations, local market insights/needs as well as one-boutique-one-story stories Strong collaboration with Global event team in the process of briefing, formulation, implementation as well as post-mortem and feedback;Lead the team on retail events orchestration, tight collaboration with VM, merchandising, retail, CEM, training and SEM teams to onboard and coordinate with all stakeholders;Lead/Supervise team to work with external agency for implementation excellence, as well as to ensure the cost optimization.Retail projects coordination- Distribution evolution key moments Opening/Re-opening, temporaray, ephemeral, etc. Lead and execute the marketing plan and liaise with all stakeholders, including Boutique development, Communications, Client, VM, Merchandising, Retail, SEM, FBP retail marketing, WFJ marketing, to structure a thorough plan aligning with business objective and provide relevant client communication and experience;With a project management mode, to orchestrate and push for progress towards deadlines;Strong collaboration with Global event team.Image project Orchestration/Coordination: Replica show, exhibitions, special projects To define the project scope and briefing. Frame the key measurement and structure the planning according to objectives and needs, as well as post-mortem reports after;Act as the overall project coordinator, to participate in taskforces with various global/local teams, closely work with Comm pillar in change and Corp event team;Lead all relay activities in or out of boutiques with all stakeholders including VM, Merch, retail, training, CEM, SE teams, to orchestrate and ensure qualitative deliveries. Leadership and Empowerment of a team towards high-potential talents: Cultivate and develop team managers/supervisor with strong capabilities;Form a culture of learning, listening, and sharing, cultivating positive team spirit;Strong influence among other teams and all stakeholders to ensure smooth project management and client experience protected;Continuously grow team capability and drive to the next level.Vendor Management Seek and maintain the relationship with new/best vendors in the market in different aspects (Catering, Production, Hospitality, etc.);Ensure the cost efficiency is always to the company standards, while maintain ultimate image deliveries in cooperation with internal expertise (IP/ VM/ Legal).Market event insights and intelligence of competitors Key competitor event intelligence / monitoring (Hermes, LV, Dior);Event highlights & insights;Key competitor report.Landlord Collaboration: In-depth cooperation to communicate and maximize marketing resources, including Trade display/ Event and activities/ Traffic and recruitment collaboration To carry out annual and quarterly plan by exchange and lead the conversation among internal and external stakeholders, including Fashion retail, VM, Client strategy, cross-divisions;To ensure high quality execution for landlord activities or trade display, aligning with brand image standards;Proactively communicate and collaborate with RM/HOB, to define new opportunities and make proposal accordingly;Set relevant KPI and follow-up to ensure optimization as well as results delivery, as well as to share reports.Opening/Re-opening projects orchestration Opening/Re-opening Partner with boutique development team and liaise with all stakeholders, including Communications, Client, VM, Merchandising, Retail, SEM, FBP retail marketing, WFJ marketing, to structure a thorough plan aligning with business objective;With a project management mode, to orchestrate and push for progress towards deadlines;Efficient communication with Paris retail support team on project progress and asset request, following on the deliveries;To further carry out the plan not only during opening phase but also in mid-term.Required Competencies Project Management, empowerment, and team management Strategic thinking, annovative thinking & agility Preferred experience in Retail/ Client experience/Marketing/Luxury +10 years’ experience in retail marketing role proactive and self-driverStrong communication & inter-personal skillsProject management Analytics and logical thinking Leadership Listening & Openness & organized Strong logical and numerical ability Solution oriented, multitasking & forward thinking Connecting dots Accountability #LI-RM1
