Description We are looking for a dedicated Farmer's Market Associate to join our team in Toledo, Ohio, on a long-term contract basis. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys providing exceptional customer service while assisting seniors with applications for services. In this role, you will combine administrative skills, attention to detail, and clear communication to make a difference in the community. Responsibilities: • Prepare and send mailers containing application materials to seniors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Offer step-by-step guidance to seniors on completing applications, providing friendly and patient support for any questions. • Review completed applications for accuracy and enter data into the system with precision. • Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist seniors with inquiries and follow-up steps. • Schedule appointments as needed to ensure seniors receive personalized assistance. • Manage email correspondence by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries. • Collaborate with team members to ensure the application process runs smoothly and efficiently. • Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain organized records and documentation. • Provide exceptional customer care through every interaction, fostering trust and satisfaction. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or similar environment. • Strong skills in data entry with high attention to detail and accuracy. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and record-keeping. • Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for email correspondence and phone support. • Experience scheduling appointments and managing calendars effectively. • Capability to work independently while collaborating with a team. • Demonstrated ability to maintain a patient and empathetic approach when assisting seniors.
