Full-time: Monday-Friday 9a-5p
The Charles Evans Center (CEC) is a leading not-for-profit located in Nassau County. CEC assists adults diagnosed with mental illness in reaching the highest level of independence with the freedom to ASPIRE HIGHER in their hopes, dreams and accomplishments. We are currently seeking a few exceptional people who have a passion to create a meaningful impact in the lives of the amazing people we support.
In this position, you will:
+ Responsible for integrating family goals and services with the tasks of all team members.
+ Work with the recipient’s natural support system with recipient permission.
+ Provide family psycho-education individually and in groups with the goal of improving family relationships.
+ Include the recipient’s natural supports in treatment and ACT services.
+ Conduct family needs assessments.
+ Develop family intervention strategies.
+ Monitor the quality of family support services to ensure services are of the highest quality.
+ Provides mobile community-based services.
+ Participate in on-call coverage.
We require:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Social or Human Services; Master’s degree preferred.
+ Competency must be demonstrated by at least 1 year of training and/or experience in family assessment and intervention, psycho-education and/or other family support services, including cognitive-behavioral strategies.
+ Clean valid NYS driver’s license.
+ Must have transportation and be able to travel through Nassau and Western Suffolk County

Hourly Salary:
Unlicensed Bachelor's: $29.00
Unlicensed Master's: $30.50
Limited Permit: $31.51
Licensed LMSW: $34.00
Licensed LCSW or LMHC: $38.48
