WellSpan Health is seeking a board-certified Primary Care Physician to oversee clinical operations for our joint venture with Geisinger to provide health care services to the Bucknell University community. The Medical Director role is an opportunity to provide leadership and oversee clinical operational activities and functions within (BSH).
What you can expect at your practice:
Responsible for the overall operation and growth of Bucknell Student Health in conjunction with the Geisinger Health Operations Manager Supervise 3 Advanced Practice Providers (2 Geisinger and 1 WellSpan employee)Oversee all patient care and clinical support functionsExcellent schedule: no nights, weekends or holidaysFull-time position with 3.5 days clinical, 1.5 days administrativeAutonomy to build and expand medical director role and services offered within the Bucknell Student Health area. Areas of interest for student health could be explored/implemented and expandedClinic hours: Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4pmTake calls for after hours emergencies for the campus Directly accountable to the Bucknell University Dean of Students and the leadership of WellSpan and Geisinger Health.Our Total Rewards package includes:
