Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a well-established family law firm in St. Charles, IL, to identify a Family Law Associate Attorney to join their growing team. This is a strong opportunity for an attorney with courtroom experience who is looking to take on complex cases, work closely with experienced litigators, and grow within a stable and supportive practice.

Responsibilities:

Represent clients in a range of family law matters, including custody disputes, financial issues, and contested divorces

Prepare and review pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence

Conduct discovery, depositions, and legal research

Appear in court and advocate on behalf of clients in contested hearings and trials

Maintain consistent client communication and manage expectations

Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and trial preparation

Qualifications:

JD from an accredited law school

Licensed to practice law in Illinois

2-5+ years of experience practicing family law

Prior courtroom and trial experience preferred

Strong written and verbal advocacy skills

Ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines

Experience working with high-conflict clients or contested matters is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive six-figure base salary, commensurate with experience

Bonus potential based on performance

1800 billable hour target
