Description Family Law Associate Attorney Location: Approximately 1 hour north of the Twin Cities Metro | Hybrid Work Option Available Are you a motivated attorney looking to build a rewarding career in family law? Our busy, well-established small firm is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney to join our team. We are located about an hour north of the Twin Cities Metro and offer a flexible work environment with the opportunity to work from home as tasks allow. About the Role This position will focus almost exclusively on Family Law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, and related issues. While prior experience in family law is a plus, it is not required—we are happy to provide training and mentorship to the right candidate. Key Responsibilities + Represent clients in family law matters from intake through resolution. + Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence. + Conduct legal research and prepare for hearings, mediations, and trials. + Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Requirements Qualifications + Licensed to practice law in the state of Minnesota. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines. + A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn. Preferred but Not Required + Experience in family law or litigation. + Familiarity with Minnesota family court procedures.
