Fall Global Marketing Intern

Job Description:

Summary:
The Intern in this role will gain exposure and experience in Global Marketing related activities in areas such as external communications, North America marketing, and global strategic marketing as applied in practice in a global manufacturing company.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities can vary depending on specific needs of the Global Marketing group at the time of hire. All internships are tailored to provide diverse experiences that interest the intern and benefit the organization.

Examples include:

Analyzing the distribution of Allison products throughout the globe to better understand market share in developing countries and to help establish where a service channel location needs to be that meets our global customers' needsCreation of Power BI dashboards to structure and visualize key market dataMaintaining a database of Allison product releases at global truck and bus manufacturersUtilizing the Customer Value Creation Process to understand market size and trends for new global opportunitiesSupporting customer event logistics and trade showsDeveloping and managing marketing materials such as a website, social media, video and other digital marketing materials in conjunction with external agencies

Experience:

Education Requirement: College undergraduate or graduate status with 1-3 years at an accredited college or university, pursuing an academic field of study related to Marketing, Sales, Business/Business Analytics or Management.

Required Experience:

Strong oral and written communication skills are requiredGood interpersonal skills to work effectively with othersTime management with working multiple projects at onceAbility to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to solve complex problemsMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI knowledge preferred
