The Position

We serve our patients through external partnerships because access to quality products is every patient’s right. Leveraging external partners to offer flexibility to our internal capacity at the right cost and quality.

We enable our external partners to reliably deliver compliant, quality products to our supply chain customers so that we can deliver to patients worldwide,through cross-functional collaborations ensuring quality process excellence and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity:

As an Intern at Roche, you will be immersed in a dynamic environment, actively participating in projects and daily operations while gaining a deep understanding of the External Quality Value Delivery Chapter and its role within Roche and External Quality. You will work alongside experienced professionals who will mentor you and help you understand the challenges and opportunities in the industry. You will be directly involved in a variety of tasks and initiatives that will allow you to develop your skills and knowledge while contributing to real business outcomes.

Collaborate on strategic and operational projects across various departmental functions.

Gain exposure to External Quality System processes, tools, and systems.

Engage in team meetings, presentations, and sessions to understand business objectives and alignment with Roche’s mission.

Attend mentorship sessions with senior members for career development and personal growth.

Contribute to essential reports, presentations, and documents for departmental operations and strategic planning.

Participate in quality-related activities and internal networking events to build relationships and improve processes.

Who you are: 

You are currently pursuing a Masters in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering or related fields.

Ability to interpret quality standards as they relate to GxP suppliers

Highly competent in MS Office or Google Suite applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project, etc.

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in writing and verbal fluency in oral and written English is a must. Additional language skills are a plus.

Preferred:

Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or related industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus.

Sound knowledge of cGMP, ISO standards, and international regulations for pharmaceuticals.

Operational Excellence expertise is a plus

Additional Information:

Duration: 12 months, with an approximate start date in September 2025.
Modality: Full Time (35 hours per week) Hybrid (majority of days on - site is required)
Location: Mississauga Campus. ON, CA.

This position is not eligible for relocation support.
