The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Failure Analysis Technician II, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Conducts the analysis and determination of root cause for systems, assemblies and components returned from the fieldWrites failure analysis reports, collects and manages data and writes technical reports in support of returned product evaluationsWorks to understand complex functional situations with tasks and breaking them down into smaller subtasksProactively develops and maintains technical knowledge in specialized area(s), remaining up to date on current trends and best practicesDemonstrates working understanding of electronic and electromechanical systemsDemonstrates working understanding of a variety of laboratory test equipmentFabricates electronic and electromechanical test fixturesSets up and executes test protocols with moderate supervisionSets up data equipment to capture test dataWorks with a moderate degree of supervisionYour Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Vyaire is looking for candidates who have the following required qualifications:

Associate degree in a technical fieldExperience working with electromechanical devicesExperience working with medical devices, in the medical device field or healthcare industry3+ years related work experience required

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Experience in failure and root cause analysis is a plusExperience working in an FDA regulated environment is a plusAbility to work independently and as a member of a team

The salary range in California for a Failure Analysis Technician II is $31.35/$47.02hour.
