Purpose of the Role:
Failure Analysis group is a section of Quality Engineering department of which the purpose is to guarantee that Advanced Energy supplies comply with customer requirements and expectations in terms of electrical functionality and reliability. The main task is to optimize test parameters and solve electrical issues seen during production testing and customer application. FA proactively work with the factory and Design Engineering teams to achieve target productivity and test yield by eliminating line failures. We create a working environment that brings out the best in our people through continuous improvement programs, showing real care for people and being updated on the latest development in electronics power supply technology.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that the product is compliance with customer specification.
2. Conduct comprehensive failure analysis.
3. Work with FA Engineers in troubleshooting products for a faster turnaround time.
4. Collaborate with Test Engineering to develop the most optimized test sequence
5. Collaborate with Design Engineering for any design or electrical related issues.
6. Analyze test data results and track defects for possible issues.
Qualifications:
Has knowledge in basic electronics circuits
Has knowledge to use electronic equipment such as DMM, Oscilloscope, LCR and etc.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office
Soldering skills
Has the ability to perform troubleshooting in electronics circuitry.
BS Electronics and Communications Engineering/ BS Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3 year experience in Failure analysis of power supplies.
