The People Services Coordinator collects, analyzes, processes and corrects (as needed) submissions of time worked by field staff working in instructional services (teachers, coaches, coordinators, etc.), as well as calculates accurate pay for the time worked based on signed agreements and designated funds.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collect field staff time submissions and send reminders as necessary if late in submitting information.
2. Collect attendance information (as applicable) to compare with time submissions.
3. Follow established procedures and processes to accurately process time/attendance information submitted by field staff.
4. Input data into spreadsheets and/or applicable systems.
5. Cross check hires, terminations, leaves of absence, as well as hours of work per week and total funds allocated by the school in each field staff member’s agreement (as applicable).
6. Coordinate, as needed, with Finance and School Accounts Management to ensure accuracy of information utilized.
7. Calculate applicable pay based on data entered.
8. Identify variances, errors, discrepancies and trouble-shoot to resolve the issues.
9. Respond to Payroll, Operations, schools and field staff questions regarding time, attendance and payroll.
10. Actively look for ways to improve efficiency and accuracy and share suggestions with team and supervisor as applicable.
Hourly Rate Range : $24.04- $26.44
New York Applicants: $26.44- $28.85
EDUCATION:
Associate’s Degree in a related field (may substitute with HS Diploma + 3 years relevant experience).
EXPERIENCE:
1. Minimum 1 year of experience in payroll.
2. Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a business environment.
3. Experience working in payroll system(s) and spreadsheets, as well as MS Office.
