Factory Innovation Technologist - Packaging (f/m/x)in Mars Wrigley, R&D Department
Location: Janaszówek near Sochaczew
The role requires close collaboration and stakeholder management with key partners within R&D, Supply and Commercial, to ensure optimal project execution, risk management and timely delivery. As a member of the regional Factory Innovation team, the job holder is expected to be able to lead and direct R&D project teams in support of big scale change projects, lead activities to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of FI function.
What would be your key responsibilities?
Acting as the R&D Technical Project Lead for complex process change projects.
Serving as the main point of contact for Packaging and Product Developers during the design, development, and implementation of new packs, products, recipes, and process technologies.
Utilizing Six Sigma tools and problem-solving methodologies to evaluate and assess risks and translating them into full-scale production changes.
Developing process specifications for planned changes and working with engineering teams to ensure they are updated and sufficient.
Coordinating and executing line trials, validation, and start-up plans for implemented changes.
Leading the handover process for packs, ensuring optimal delivery of product quality.
This role is essential in driving innovation and continuous improvement within our factories.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related scientific or technical disciplines with relevant professional internship and 3+ years’ experience in a closely related industry, preferred.
Alternatively, 5+ years demonstrated success in relevant manufacturing / quality experience.
Preferred experience in food packaging and/or processing, with an understanding of processes and machine operation.
Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
Demonstrated success influencing and leading others.
Track record of delivery of complex change projects.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
