Venturi, LLC, a Chenega company, has an excellent opportunity for a **Facility Technician I** who will perform technical support engineering from detailed procedures in such areas at Maintenance, Transportation support, Inventory/Warehouse support, and Test and Engineering Operations. The **Facility Technician I** responsibilities include inspection and maintenance of warehouses and bunkers on Redstone Arsenal, AL. **Responsibilities** + Inspect and maintain warehouses and bunkers per specified standards + Perform simple or routine tasks or tests, such as operating and adjusting simple test equipment, operating vehicles and handling equipment, and maintaining various records + Gather and maintain specified records of engineering data, such as tests, drawings, inventory records, maintenance records, etc. + Function independently to resolve problems and advise staff members in order to meet established objectives + Maintain inventory, prepare order quantities, and track resupply activities + Prepare materials for shipping + Operate handling equipment + Operate/drive various vehicles + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** **Required:** + High school diploma or GED equivalent + Possess valid driver's license and maintain it for contract duration + Interim Secret clearance **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Mechanical aptitude and the ability to conscientiously follow written and verbal instruction + Proper use of standard hand tools and material handling equipment + Ability to maintain a drivers license + Ability to lift boxes, packages, and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds using proper equipment and lifting techniques. + Physically fit with full use of arms, legs, and back + Ability to obtain and maintain required training and certifications + Ability to use computers to search for and generate information using Microsoft Office + Ability to travel 20-30% to CONUS and OCONUS locations + Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required **How** **you’ll** **grow** At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
