Roles and responsibilities:
Inspect equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specificationsDiagnose equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments as neededPerform preventative maintenance on equipmentRepair all production equipment as neededPerform breakdown analysisPerform general housekeepingWork with outside contractors working on equipmentComply with safety, and audit standardsWork independently under limited supervision (self-management)Document PM’s and maintain recordsMinimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GEDMust adhere to all Safety and Quality Standards2+ Years commercial HVAC experience to include:Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns (pinpointing and fixing breakdowns, diagnostics, problem solving).Mechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings).Pumps (e.g., troubleshooting, replacing seals/motors, understanding specs).Electricity & Electrical systems from - 480v 3 phase - 24v controlKnowledge of PM standards, inspection and repair Trane Precedent and Voyager rooftop units.Familiar with Trane Synchrony Building Automation System (BAS).Familiar with PM, inspection and repair of Condair humidifiers.Certifications – A state license from the Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board (OCILB) and the EPA Section 608 certification.Eligibility Requirement:

Knowledge of safety procedures, PPE, Lockout/Tagout, etc.Pneumatics/air compression (solenoids, valves, cylinders, motor brakes, reading, troubleshooting)Preventative maintenance (computerized preventative charts/data)Schematics (e.g., electrical blueprints with switches, starters, maps, relays)Product manuals (e.g., reading and applying knowledge to make repairs)Reading mechanical drawings (e.g., mechanical, electrical, hydraulics & pneumatics)Electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays)Basic rigging knowledgeMust be ready to work in a collaborative team environment including non-maintenance personnelAbility to communicate effectively with the team/managementForklift and manlift experienceAdditional Information:
