Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Facility Technician. The expected annual salary range for this role is $67,500 - $99,000 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **What you’ll do:** Eaton is seeking a skilled and dedicated **facility technician** to manage and maintain the new Power Electronics (PE) Center of Excellence (CoE) site in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all building systems, performing routine maintenance, and addressing any issues that arise. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and lighting. • Building Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the building to identify and address any maintenance needs or safety concerns. • Safety Compliance: Ensure the building complies with all safety regulations and standards, including fire safety, emergency exits, and security systems. • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to any building emergencies, such as power outages, leaks, or equipment failures. **Qualifications:** **Basic (Required) Qualifications:** -High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. -Minimum 7 years of experience in facility maintenance or a similar role. -Minimum 7 years of experience in repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and lighting. -Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. -No relocation offered. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of Raleigh, NC to be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. **Preferred Qualifications:** -Technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred. -Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting -Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. -Strong knowledge of building safety regulations and standards, including fire safety, emergency exits, and security systems. -Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. -Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces. **Skills:** **Professional:** • Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual. • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Collaborative orientation with the ability to thrive in a highly team-oriented, global, and diverse environment. • Consistently acts in an ethical, open, honest, trustworthy, and truthful manner. • Position requires no travels.
