Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **What you’ll do:** Eaton is seeking a skilled and dedicated **facility technician** to manage and maintain the new Power Electronics (PE) Center of Excellence (CoE) site in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all building systems, performing routine maintenance, and addressing any issues that arise. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and lighting. • Building Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the building to identify and address any maintenance needs or safety concerns. • Safety Compliance: Ensure the building complies with all safety regulations and standards, including fire safety, emergency exits, and security systems. • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services. • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to any building emergencies, such as power outages, leaks, or equipment failures. **Qualifications:** **Basic (Required) Qualifications:** -High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. -Minimum 7 years of experience in facility maintenance or a similar role. -Minimum 7 years of experience in repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and lighting. -Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. -No relocation offered. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of Raleigh, NC to be considered.
