Position Summary
The Lead Facility Operations is responsible for overseeing the Operations department of their club in the delivery of Life Time’s cleanliness standards. They provide leadership for the operations department in the fulfillment of Life Time’s mission statement. This includes, but is not limited to, being responsible for all Fac Ops Team Members' ongoing training and scheduling, handling and overseeing the department's payroll budget and the recruiting/staffing and training.Job Duties/Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring locker rooms, fitness floors and common areas clean, tidy and welcoming at all times - 45%Coaches, manages and schedules up to 30 team members - 20%Responsible for training staff through orientation, direction, and feedback - 20%Recruits for the Operations department and gives recommendations to the General Manager on hiring, promotions, and disciplinary actions - 5%Responsible for maintaining the monthly, quarterly and annual department budget, including submitting monthly financial reports to the General Manager - 5%Completes operations payroll and ensures labor costs fall within budgetary guidelines - 5%Minimum Required Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GEDYears of Experience:
2 years of management experienceBuilding operations experienceLicenses / Certifications / Registrations:
CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hireCertified Pool Operations (CPO) license within 6 months of hireOther:
Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbsAbility to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of timePreferred Qualifications
College degree in business, hospitality, or related fieldHealth and Fitness operations experienceProficient Computer Skills with Microsoft OfficeBackground in the Military is beneficialPayThis is an hourly position with wages starting at $29.75 and pays up to $39.75, based on experience and qualifications.
