We are currently hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician I for our sunny Irvine, California site.  We are looking for dynamic, inspiring, inclusive team members who collaborate with others, knowing that diverse talent, skills, and perspectives lead to better outcomes.  Alcon manufacturing is a fast paced, high-energy environment so naturally we are looking for someone who is a relationship builder, an excellent analytical thinker, intuitive to business needs, and someone who can effectively communicate in challenging situations creating win-win scenarios. A Day in the Life:

As a Facility Maintenance Technician I, you are responsible for unleashing the full potential of our people and culture while simultaneously achieving timely and cost-effective manufacturing of high-quality medical devices. In this role, the responsibilities include:

Repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facilities.Performing electrical, painting, and/or carpentry repairs of fixtures and equipment on company premises.Conducting periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required.Maintaining all equipment necessary to perform work.Primary emphasis is on performance of a variety of maintenance tasks, rather than a high degree of skill in any particular trade.
