Our client, a multinational company in engineering industry, is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Pay Range: $19–$23 per hour, depending on experience

What's the Job?

Perform manual labor tasks such as operating a cardboard compactor and moving office furniture. Conduct painting, patching, and paint clean-up as needed. Maintain cleanliness of buildings and grounds through general cleaning duties. Execute janitorial tasks including carpet extraction and window cleaning. Assist in furniture building and repairs as directed.

What's Needed?

Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions. Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions effectively. Experience with facility maintenance tools and equipment is a plus. Physical capability to perform labor-intensive tasks. Willingness to attend work as scheduled and required.
