What you will be doing

To maintain equipment parts and supplies for the Building & Facility Department.

The position will be based in Irvine, CA. 

Main responsibilities

· Position responsible for the maintaining of various inventory reports for parts and supply usage, ordering parts, and working with vendors. The incumbent basically works under moderate supervision.

· Responsible for parts and supply ordering process. Creating purchase orders, ordering parts and supplies, receiving parts and supplies, closing out completed orders, and the stocking of received parts and supplies.

· To perform daily cycle count on parts inventory, audit of parts and supply vendors weekly count sheets for accuracy.

· Generate weekly and period end inventory financial reports.

· To provide backup assistance in the absence of the department administrative assistant for the purpose of receive and route telephone calls, sort and route incoming and outgoing mail.

· Work with internal staff to ensure the ordering and receiving of the correct equipment parts and supplies.

The pay range is $23.14 to $33.06 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.

What we are searching for

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:

SKILLS:

· Possess good general store room and organizational skills. Position requires use personal computer and other routine office equipment. Prior knowledge of personal computer applications helpful; Excel, Work, Power Point, and Access.

· Possess good communication skills, oral and written as well as good telephone skills.

Ability to handle confidential information in a mature and professional manner required. Must be able to work with minimum supervision and complete assigned projects on a timely basis.

· Work environment is characterized by normal office and shop conditions. Incumbent will spend the majority of the workday between store room, floor, and shop and at desk or computer terminal or working within a limited area.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn as required.

· Ability to learn and follow Company and Distribution Center policies regarding safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks and related power equipment.

· Exposure to potential hazards exists with respect to equipment and materials necessary to perform job functions. Potential exposure exists to vehicle and equipment lubricants and solvents. Work in areas with approximate temperatures ranging from above 80 degrees to -0 degrees F.

· Valid driver license is required for operation of company pickup trucks.
