As Maintenance Manager, you’ll ensure the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our facility by:
Leading and developing your maintenance team to maximize productivity and performance
Planning and scheduling maintenance activities using our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Ensuring strict compliance with all safety, environmental, and risk management programs
Partnering with the General Manager to manage budgets, review utility usage, and drive energy efficiency
For automated facilities: coordinating planned maintenance and vendor engagement during automation commissioning
Providing input on capital projects and seeing them through to successful completion
Supporting energy efficiency studies in partnership with our Energy Management team
Advising on the design and planning of future building or automation initiatives
What We’re Looking For:High school diploma or GED (additional technical training a plus)
3+ years of facility maintenance management experience, including team leadership and resource planning
Hands-on experience with ammonia, Freon, and/or CO₂ refrigeration systems in temperature-controlled environments
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Familiarity with PSM (Process Safety Management) and RMP (Risk Management Plan) compliance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across all levels of the organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in dynamic or ambiguous situations
Willingness to work in temperature extremes (-20°F in cold storage or up to 100°F in dry storage) with PPE provided
Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels
