Key Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment, including manufacturing tools, HVAC systems, and electrical systems, to ensure operational reliability. Maintain facility grounds and building infrastructure, addressing issues like plumbing, lighting, and structural repairs. Perform basic carpentry work, such as repairing or installing wooden fixtures, doors, frames, or shelving, to maintain building functionality and appearance. Conduct regular inspections of facility systems, equipment, and structures to identify and resolve potential issues. Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or equipment servicing as needed. Support the Operations team in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Monitor inventory of maintenance and carpentry supplies, ensuring availability for ongoing needs. Document maintenance and carpentry activities, inspections, and repairs, maintaining accurate records for compliance and audits.Security and Health/Safety:
Implement and monitor safety protocols to comply with OSHA regulations Manage and maintain security systems, including access controls, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems, to protect the facility. Respond promptly to security and safety incidents, troubleshooting and resolving issues to minimize risks, and ensure compliance with policy. Assist in training staff on safety and security procedures, promoting a culture of compliance.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in facility maintenance, equipment repair, or security systems management. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and basic facility maintenance practices. Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, HVAC systems, and basic carpentry relevant to manufacturing environments. Experience maintaining security systems, such as access controls, cameras, or alarms. Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment, facility systems, and perform basic carpentry tasks with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. Basic computer skills for documenting maintenance logs and using facility management tools. Effective communicator, able to work with operations teams and external vendors. Physically capable of performing maintenance and carpentry tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various conditions. Flexible to respond to emergencies or after-hours maintenance needs as required.Desired Qualifications:
Technical certification or associate’s degree in facility maintenance, electrical systems, carpentry, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance or security in a manufacturing environment. Experience in electronics manufacturing facilities Training in security systems management or OSHA compliance programs. Background working in regulated industries, such as aerospace or defense.
