Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Day to Day Responsibilities: Plant power supply system operations and maintenance management. Lead troubleshooting activities with time and reliability supply requirements. Provide professional analysis and reports on power supply system issues root cause and implement permanent solutions. Identifies, justifies, and implements reliability and cost saving improvement opportunities by design, install, debug and/or specifies new equipment or modifies existing equipment. Coordinate power supply affairs with source substation and keep close contact with power supplier for all kinds of operations and maintenance activities. Establish and maintain system operations and maintenance documents e.g. SOS/Base Case/PM Procedure/Emergency Response Procedure, etc. Provide training on power supply system to all relevant personnel compliant with plant/dept. requirements. Meet Process Control and Process Discipline requirement and follow change control process and have good communication with all. Ensure system have no compliance issue. Ensure safety compliance. Ensure intellectual assets protection compliance. Other day-to-day activities.
  Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or above with the major in electrical or automation Education background with 985 & 211 project university 5+ years’ experience with 10KV power system daily operation and maintenance, also UPS. 10kv substation retrofit or installation, commissioning. Solar panel installation and commissioning.
  Required Skills Familiar with 10kv ,380v power system design/installation, have daily operation & maintenance experience. Familiar with industrial power system, including 10kv, 380V industrial power, emergency power, grounding system, lightning protection, etc. Have electrical knowledge related to all facilities equipment, such as inverter, Motor etc. Experience in leading 10kv closed-loop operation and PPA preparation process before closed-loop. Electrical instrument/ tools operation skills (Partial Discharge, oil chromatography analysis). Able to apply various tools, e.g. risk analysis, FMEA, etc. Familiar with schematic diagram and SCADA.
