**Location:** Brownstown Township, MI
**Pay Rate:** $ 23.00/hr
**Schedule:** Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm
**Join a high-performing facilities team where no two days are the same.** We’re seeking a hands-on, service-driven **Facility Coordinator / Maintenance Helper** to support daily operations and light maintenance at a corporate facility in **Brownstown Township, MI** . This is a hybrid role combining coordination and administrative support with physical maintenance responsibilities—ideal for someone who thrives on variety and takes pride in keeping a facility running smoothly.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Facilities Coordination & Administrative Support:**
+ Support the Regional Facility Manager with day-to-day operations
+ Receive and dispatch maintenance requests to technicians and vendors
+ Assist with vendor coordination, service contracts, and procurement
+ Schedule and track maintenance activities, inspections, and special projects
+ Provide front-line communication with staff, visitors, and contractors
+ Help manage operational reporting, budgeting, and auditing support
+ Support meeting setup, conference room reservations, and event coordination
+ Assist with financial tasks including accounts payable and receivable
+ Ensure excellent customer service and timely follow-up on service requests
+ Contribute to cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives
**Maintenance Helper Duties:**
+ Assist with general office maintenance (e.g., hanging pictures, furniture repairs)
+ Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs
+ Move furniture and equipment as needed
+ Support operations staff with building systems maintenance and repairs
+ Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces
+ Use Hi-Lo or powered industrial trucks occasionally (training provided)
+ Record completed work accurately and efficiently
+ Attend safety training and follow site safety protocols
**What You’ll Bring:**
+ 2+ years of facility or property administration experience
+ Experience supporting a facilities or operations team preferred
+ Strong customer service and communication skills
+ Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work with minimal supervision
+ Basic hands-on repair and maintenance knowledge
+ Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
+ Familiarity with safety standards and building systems is a plus
+ Willingness to be both at a desk and on your feet, shifting between coordination and hands-on support
**Physical Requirements:**
+ Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch for extended periods
+ Capable of lifting and moving furniture or equipment occasionally
+ Must be comfortable working both indoors and around building systems

**Pay Details:** $23.00 per hour
