A new opportunity has opened for a Caretaker/ Facility Coordinator to join our teams at Carnaby Rise Primary School in Landsdale on a permanent full-time basis. The role is required to provide high standard of caretaker services throughout the school facilities Monday to Friday

The Role

Able to undertake general repairs and maintenance as well as planned preventative maintenance throughout the school and surrounding grounds Overseeing all activities across the school grounds and buildings, ensuring Occupational Health and Safety standards are metIdentify and report services faults, book trades and supervise contractorsCleaning of external areas including pathways, bin area and common areasMaintain strong relationships with all stakeholdersAdhere to Downer Zero Harm Standards and practicesMust be available Monday to Friday between 6am-6pm for a rotating roster

About You

Experience in trade services would be advantageousGeneral handyman skills are requiredA good communicator who can follow instructions and is willing to learnSafety focused with a high level of attention to detailSupervise a fast yet efficient service and is responsive to the demands and needs of our customersHave resilience, a 'can-do' attitude and be adaptableGood level of fitness and physical abilityMust have full work rights in Australia

**Please note, as a prerequisite for this role candidates will be required to complete a Working with Children Check, pre-employment medical check, Australian Federal Police Check and reference checks.
