Facilities Technology Transfer - Lead

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead for Facilities Technology Transfer within our Facilities Department. Based in Boise, this role offers an outstanding chance to influence the future of facilities technology, ensuring our world-class facilities operate flawlessly and sustainably. **Safety & Quality:** + Completes all required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with Micron and Technology Development (TD) safety policies + Stops work for safety if unsafe conditions and/or behaviors are identified + Uses and reviews job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being performed + Follows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws including PPE, CoHE (lockout /tagout) and chemical safety + Follows-up on safety and quality related issues immediately and works towards resolution with customers + Actively participates in the EHS program by reporting all EHS-related concerns or problems immediately (maximum 24 hours) + Performs and facilitates audits and submits good catches + Always wears appropriate PPE, per JHA, supervisor, EHS professionals, and/or job designation + Proactively finds opportunities to reduce potential hazards which may impact personnel health and/or the environment + Follows proper organizational change practices to ensure safety and quality expectations are met + Drives quality improvement initiatives in their area to reduce Fab impacts, improve efficiency and identify cost savings **Communication & Collaboration:** + Ensures appropriate communication with facilities and manufacturing customers + Partners with key customers to develop solutions to continuously improve critical metrics and future process introduction + Collaborates with areas leaders to create personal performance and development goals for department and direct reports + Attends and participates in meetings and provides relevant technical guidance + Partners with customers and Engineering and Operations to understand impact of changes + Partners with customers and supporting departments to define tool set, requirements and cost of transfer, safety and Environmental issues for new production tools + Partners with Facilities Industrial/capacity planning engineers to create templates and utility database capable of providing specific utility matrix for each technology transfer + Develops and maintains user documentation for new technology transfer and defined communication methods to transfer this information to receiving sites + Partners in data collection, gap analysis, and improvement implementation + Listens to customer feedback, recognizes opportunities and provides feedback for technical innovation + Communicates highly complex information to internal and external contacts + Mentors less experienced team members and enables on-boarding for new hires + Writes and completes performance evaluations and builds/communicates plans to increase direct reports capabilities **Project Management/Planning:** + Uses a systematic project management methodology to develop, prioritize and manage projects + Manages projects to ensure results are completed within the required scope, schedule and budget + Tracks actions and provides partner concern path or resources to ensure actions will be completed on time + Defines and leads complex, multi-disciplinary projects of critical importance to Micron + Collaborates with customers on the design and coordination of projects + Prepares project scope and ensures necessary guidance from appropriate customers + Ensures that scope meets requester needs + Coordinates and leads meetings and initiates follow-up actions + Provides support for the design and specifications for new facilities infrastructure + Provides support for cost and schedule estimates and justification for approval + Follows organizational change procedures + Helps to shape strategic decisions and provides technical support + Develops set data storage areas to gather, document and store data for each Technology Transfer **Technical/Data Analysis:** + Analyzes systems data to make critical decisions, improve performance, gain efficiency, and drive cost savings + Analyzes production tool and new technology utility requirements and first-of-a-kind materials that may impact facilities, safety and/or environment + Ensures engagement with manufacturing during technology transfer + Partners with customers to push out Facilities requirements for technology transfers + Provides effective and timely guidance to resolve issues and is highly engaged in key problem resolution + Provides fixing support for complex problems and addresses root cause + Supports risk and/or failure mode and effects analysis + Eliminates single points of failure and mitigates risk + Provides consultation and technical support to Operations, Maintenance, Manufacturing and other department/sites + Provides engineering support to ensure facility compliance with federal, state, and local laws + Supports corporate requests and assignments + Develops and maintains user documentation and communication methods for new technology transfer + Creates templates and utility databases that support specific utility matrixes during technology transfers + Supports benchmark activities on operational, procedural, engineering, facilities systems + Maintains applicable field knowledge, such as technology transfer theory, etc. + Drives a culture of TPM including TPM metrics, CIP items, MTAGs, and procedures + Applies standard engineering principles and practices + Uses administrative and engineering databases in support of job tracking, engineering data, capital equipment facilitation, and critical system loads and capacities + Performs research and development on emerging facilities technologies to support innovative semiconductor processes + Ensures safety is considered in all aspects of design, enhancement, modification and process **Minimum Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Engineering, Semiconductor, or related field of study + Proven experience in facilities engineering and technology transfer + Solid understanding of semiconductor industry standards and practices + Sophisticated PC skills including a familiarity with MS Office Word, Excel, PPT, SAP, Autodesk and coding programs + Demonstrated ability to collaborate efficiently with diverse teams **Preferred Qualifications:** + 10+ years of
