At Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., we are looking for a driven and meticulous Facilities Technician B to ensure our operations run flawlessly! **Responsibilities** + Perform preventive maintenance and repairs in refrigeration, heating, and compressor equipment by replacing belts on motors, bearings, couplings, etc. + Maintain and perform routine repairs to electrically powered equipment and applications as directed by your manager/supervisor or equipment service technicians. + Detect and repair leaks in the hydraulic system promptly and efficiently. + Diagnose electrical control faults to ensure equipment operates efficiently. + Complete medium-level electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic installations, including 220V/480V contacts, fast-paced air intakes, 220V/480V drops for equipment, water intakes, and filtering systems. + Propose and implement improvements in department work methodologies. **Requirements** + Shown ability to work independently while performing standard maintenance and repair tasks. + Outstanding skills in preventive maintenance and repair of refrigeration, heating, and compressor equipment. + Competence in routine repairs of electrically powered equipment. + Strict attention to detail when detecting and repairing hydraulic system leaks. + Expertise in diagnosing electrical control faults. + Experience in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic installations.
