Your daily adventures will include: + 🛠️ Performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on rides, play areas, and equipment + 🔌 Troubleshooting systems including A/V, HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and electrical + 🎥 Supporting cinema operations, projectors, and audio setups + 💧 Maintaining water quality (bonus if you're plumbing-certified or water-chemistry savvy!) + 🌿 Helping with general landscaping – mowing, edging, trimming, and plant care + 🧽 Ensuring tools and equipment are safe, clean, and ready to use + 🧑‍🔧 Logging all repairs and inspections accurately in our system + 👨‍👩‍👧 Assisting guests and maintaining a friendly, approachable attitude at all times + 🚨 Responding quickly to maintenance calls to keep our attraction running safely and smoothly + 🧪 Performing daily/weekly/monthly maintenance tasks and inspections according to schedule **🎓** **What Makes You a Great Fit** + ✅ 2+ years’ experience in a maintenance or technical role (preferably in themed environments or attractions) + 🛠 Proficient in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and basic networking + 💡 Familiar with pumps, motors, HVAC, and AV systems (bonus points for DMX lighting experience!) + 💻 Comfortable with troubleshooting PCs and using maintenance software + 🧠 Detail-oriented with great time management and organizational skills + 💪 Physically able to lift up to 25 lbs, work at heights, and move throughout the attraction all day + 🤿 Open Water SCUBA Certification is a plus – or willing to obtain if needed for water features + 📆 Available to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays **🦺** **Health & Safety Is Our Priority** At Merlin Entertainments, safety is part of the fun.
