Facilities Technician
**Facility Technician – San Jose, CA** We’re looking for a hands-on **Facility Technician** to support our San Jose site. You’ll work with our Facilities Manager and team to keep things running smoothly — from daily maintenance and inspections to coordinating contractors, handling small projects, and pitching in on shipping/receiving when needed. **This is a 4 week project. Filling in for a Leave.** **What you’ll do:** + Perform daily/weekly/monthly facility inspections & repairs + Support equipment installs (electrical, plumbing, venting, etc.) + Escort and coordinate outside vendors + Help with EHS, housekeeping, and waste removal + Take on small projects (moving furniture, painting, shelving, etc.) + Assist with preventive maintenance and daily rounds **What we’re looking for:** + 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience + Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) & safety codes + Ability to do hands-on repair work and lift up to 50 lbs + CMMS experience (UpKeep, Maximo, etc.) + Strong communication and problem-solving skills + Valid driver’s license **Nice-to-have:** + Trade experience (plumbing, electrician, HVAC, pipefitting) + Forklift certification, carpentry skills, or NFPA 70E certification + Background in manufacturing, biotech, or clean tech **Pay Details:** $35.00 to $40.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
