Responsible for facilities maintenance, technical support, and vendor support. Works directly with outside contractors to support the building infrastructure maintenance and improvement projects. Including electrical, plumbing, waste services, HVAC, and building security or IT systems. Maintains expenses and service provider’s schedule. Contributes towards EHS building initiatives such as energy savings, waste reduction, or other sustainability projects.
+ Demonstrates safety as the number one priority when conducting routine and non-routine execution of building maintenance activities.
+ Supports and arranges outside services as required to support the buildings infrastructure, including maintenance, and EHS requirements.
+ Directly communicates with building landlord and management to notify them of concerns, required repairs or work, and improvement opportunities.
+ Maintains financial documentation for expenditures and works to find cost reduction activities on paid services, or project requirements.
+ Supports preventative maintenance needs of building equipment or other required systems such as cleaning systems, Parker owned HVAC, or filtration systems.
+ Executes building safety audits such as pest control, building emergency lights, and hazardous materials.
+ Maintains building supply needs, executes requisitions, and supports the daily requirements or operation of the facility.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
+ Associate degree in related technical field, or high school equivalency w/ 5 plus years’ experience.
+ MS Office proficiency in and maintenance-based applications experience
+ Manufacturing floor and technical troubleshooting experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
+ Excellent customer service and attitude.
+ Knowledge of safe operation of hand and power tools or equipment.
+ Building systems knowledge.
+ Ability to successfully interact with various departments in the accomplishment of the above responsibilities.
+ Strong organizational and communication skills.
+ Demonstration of good interpersonal skills to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships as required.
+ Continuous improvement mindset.
