Facilities Technician

**CTG is seeking to fill a Facilities Technician opening for our client in Myerstown, PA.**
**Location:** Myerstown, PA
**Duration:** 12 months
**Duties:**
+ Perform technical, operational, and maintenance work to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical products are produced on time and in the right quantities.
+ Support site facilities/utilities including electrical, air, steam, water, heating, cooling, fabrication, welding, machining, programmable logic controllers, and other electromechanical equipment.
+ Comply with all workplace standards and safety procedures, including Lockout Tagout, cGMPs, OSHA requirements, and SOPs.
+ Execute work orders, preventive maintenance (PM), routine, and non-routine maintenance tasks.
+ Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors as needed.
+ Assist Engineers with installation and operational qualifications (IQ/OQ), site capital projects, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of new equipment.
+ Maintain documentation and maintenance logs per SOPs and regulatory requirements.
+ Read, write, and modify PLC ladder logic.
+ Perform technical duties in Packaging, Manufacturing, PCS, Facility, and Utility operations.
+ Conduct routine fire system inspections and maintenance.
+ Repair and install equipment from metals and plastics; perform fabrication work including cutting, shearing, bending, welding, and assembly.
+ Maintain and repair mechanical systems such as pumps, fans, and other mechanical devices.
+ Perform electrical circuit testing and repairs for low and medium voltage systems.
+ Troubleshoot and repair systems such as electrical (up to 480 volts), high-voltage power distribution, compressed air, steam, potable water, purified water, heating, and cooling.
+ Support team operations, train team members, and contribute to a team-oriented culture.
**Skills:**
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical systems.
+ Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems.
+ Ability to interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, diagrams, and electrical schematics.
+ Competency with fabrication tools and welding techniques.
+ Familiarity with the National Electric Code and safety standards.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general PC skills.
+ Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
**Experience:**
+ Technical Associate Degree or High School Diploma/GED plus 2 years of vocational technical training and 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ Experience with PLCs, mechanical systems, fabrication, and industrial electrical work.
+ Proven ability to work safely in a production environment.
+ Experience working with both metric and standard measurement systems.
**Education:**
+ Technical Associate Degree preferred, or High School Diploma/GED with equivalent vocational training and relevant experience.
**Additional Details:**
+ 12-month contract with potential for extension.
+ Average 30 hours/week.
+ 2nd shift schedule: 3:00 PM – 10:30 PM.
+ Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
