Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Responsible for the care and maintenance of Knight & Swift building systems.
Manage assigned budgets.Coordinate and maintain relationships with assigned vendors.Implement HVAC best practices to maximize life of equipment.Opens and closes work orders in CMMS per SLA guidelines.Minimize down time through proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance.Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.Maintain, operate, inspect and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds as it pertains to assigned buildings.Perform a variety of general handyman services, including painting, drywall repair, carpet tile replacement, and other minor maintenance tasks.Respond to assigned repairs, conduct emergency maintenance, and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure facility safety and functionality.Complete maintenance and repair records as required.Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.Review historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection, testing and preventive maintenance schedule.Operates company vehicle in a safe manner and follows prescribed routines to service locations in a timely manner.Assist internal customers with conference room set ups, board meetings, new desk setups, reconfiguring spaces and move management, as well as any other office space needs.Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring
3 years' HVAC experience required.Proven handyman experience with a broad range of general maintenance and repair tasks.Experience in commercial facilities environment preferred.High School diploma or equivalent required.HVAC certification or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, CMMS and CAFM.Must be a self starter.Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.Must be able to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.Must be able to carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
Pay Range: $21.00 - $25.00 Hourly
