Facilities Technician at Providence Hood River Hospital - Full-time, Day Schedule.
Performs general hospital maintenance and repair on facilities and equipment. Works independently on all Hospital systems and equipment where no license is required to do the work in question. Performs on-call maintenance.

Required Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Must submit proof to the hospital that applicant is actively pursuing an LME, or enrolled in and has successfully completed: At least one term in a 1 year certificate, or 2 year Associate Degree program in Facilities Maintenance Technology, or Other approved hospital curriculum. Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information. 4 years experience working with hospital systems and equipment including but not limited to heating and cooling equipment, boilers, ducting, nurse call systems, electrical systems and cabling, fire sprinklers, alarms, security systems and refrigeration equipment, or Exhibits a working knowledge comparable to this experience.Why Join Providence?
