The Senior Facilities Technician is responsible for performing all routine maintenance and repairs within the facility, responding to Facilities work requests, emergency calls, and performing & coordinating other preventive maintenance activities as requested to help ensure that our internal customers are taken care of, and other facility-related systems continue to operate reliably and efficiently.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager Engineering/Maintenance/Facilities and is part of the Facilities Maintenance team located in West Sacramento, CA and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Responsibilities include maintenance of building/facility grounds and infrastructure (structural, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, DI water, compressed air, etc.). Participate in and perform emergency and non-emergency repairs, site generated work requests for preventive maintenance tasks, work requests generated by associates, and routine building operational/safety inspections.Participate in vendor/service provider visits to conduct facility equipment/HVAC/utility inspections and support the vendor with the execution of scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.Participate in and perform a multitude of tasks including (but not limited to) preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting/repairs, opening/closing work requests, completing work order required documentation, completing required training, participating in Kaizen events/initiatives, and completing all assigned work requests on time.

The essential requirements of the job include:

High school diploma or GED3+ years of successful experience working as a facilities technician or similar

Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Chilled water and boiler systems/HVAC EPA certification, or other applicable technician licenses preferredManufacturing/Production environment and/or other FDA-regulated industry.Welding and metal fabrication.

The hourly range for this role is $27.02 – 47.22. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
