HOW A FACILITIES SPECIALIST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Plans and designs the most efficient and cost-effective layout of organizational facilities and buildings, including architectural and structural components.
·Serves as the primary liaison with external contractors, vendors, and suppliers for facility-related equipment and services.
May assist with office move coordination and space planning initiatives.
Manages the room reservation calendar to ensure optimal space utilization.
Assists employees and visitors in locating and accessing available office or meeting space.
Provides general administrative support to ensure smooth daily facility operations, focusing on non-program-related tasks.
Collaborates proactively with administrative peers, cross-functional teams, and internal and external partners to support shared goals and ensure operational efficiency.
Responsible for receiving and managing office supply deliveries; must be able to lift 20–40 lbs. as needed.
Demonstrated experience and understanding of the principles, methods, techniques used in the managing facility function.
