Facilities Specialist
FACILITIES SPECIALIST Annual Salary $50K Monday through Friday 8am-4pm The Facilities Specialist is responsible for supporting the facility operations across our behavioral health service locations. This role is critical in ensuring our facilities are safe, efficient, compliant, and aligned with company goals. Namely, the Specialist will implement and facilitate a work order system at our three commercial office locations. Additionally, the Specialist will support special projects at our residential locations to improve service quality and drive operational efficiencies. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the Specialist will coordinate across departments and collaborate with the Senior Facilities Manager and external vendors to achieve organizational goals. What You Will Do: + Build, implement and manage maintenance requests, service tickets, and vendor work at Edinburg’s three commercial office locations. + Perform routine inspections and minor repairs to ensure a safe and functional environment. + Assist in monitoring building systems and escalating issues to the appropriate personnel or contractors. + Maintain supplies and inventory for facilities and janitorial needs. + Help coordinate office moves, workstation setups, and event setups. + Ensure compliance with workplace safety and cleanliness standards. + Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability programs to reduce environmental impact and drive operational efficiencies. + Support the facilities team with daily operational tasks and maintenance activities as needed. + Support special projects at residential locations as identified by the Director of Finance and Administration Who You Are: + High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or trade certification is a plus. + 1–3 years of experience in a facility or building maintenance role. + Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry is a plus. + Strong problem-solving and communication skills. + Ability to work independently and take initiative. + Willingness to learn and grow within the facilities management field.
