MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
The purpose of this job is to support the EHS & Facilities Manager, ensuring oversight of the EDC Reception and ensuring compliance to applicable standards.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports the EHS & Facilities Manager in the Facilities roles and responsibilitiesCollaborates with all departments involved (Operations, Quality etc.) as well as with external stakeholders (including the landlord) to coordinate projects and activities related to facilities management, installations and equipmentEnsures oversight of the EDC Reception Team and ensures a clear expectation on roles and responsibilities for the reception staffEstablish and maintain facilities related contracts with vendors, contractors and service providersResponsible for the coordination and executing of maintenance activities to ensure that the EDC Facilities, building installations and equipment are in good condition to provide a safe, secure and productive work environmentResponsible for the preparation, coordination and execution of facilities change projectsIs a key stakeholder in the EDC Security ProgramSupports the site EHS Program by ensuring contractor safety, issuing work permits, and ensuring that EHS rules and regulations are followed throughout the entire execution of (contractor) activities and projectsEnsures compliance with all relevant standards throughout all tasks and projectsEDUCATION AND COMPETENCIES
Has technical affinityIs service oriented, flexible, pro-active and communication skillsFluent in Dutch and English, written and spoken; French is a plusAffinity with project managementAble to collaborate with different departments, cultures and stakeholdersQuality, safety and continous improvement mindsetAbility to plan, organize and prioritize daily workBachelor degree or equivalent through experienceApplicants must be based in Belgium.
